Pourquoi on peut pas utilise "alors" au lieu de "ensuite" et "étonnement" au lieu de "stupéfaction" ? Merci !
J'adore français!!!!!!!!!! Et toi ? Mon ami Amélie adore français aussi, mais elle est méchante :(
I would like to ask why in the first sentence 'à Pâques' is not correct and it is translated 'pour Pâques' instead. According to this lesson (Which prepositions to use with celebration days - like Christmas - in French) the preposition should be 'à'. Are there other situations?
Also, why is there the article in '... pour déjeuner le dimanche' if it refers to a specific Sunday? (Using "le" with days of the week + the weekend (French Definite Articles))
Thank you
What are the grammatical terms (names) and usage for DES = DE + LES, on one hand, and DES as a partitif and DES as a normal plural article on the other hand?
We say «J'aime LES fleurs MAIS je dessine DES fleurs.»
Why?
Why do you say "Nous mangeons de l'agneau" instead of "Nous mangeons d'agneau"? I thought lamb was masculin.
"N'importe quoi" is a colloquial, it means nonsense or bs! Not the right or natural way of saying whatever. This is incorrect. The correct way to say is "Peu importe".
How do I access the accents for French writing within Quizik?
I can't seem to make the accents work when I'm using the site.
Sur votre gauche, vous verrez des panneaux qui vous montreront le chemin de la place.
Can we say 'à votre gauche'? thanks in advance.
Wouldn't ramener be a better verb that rentrer? Or at least it seems to me. And as an English speaker, no one would say that they "put back" a car into a garage.
