The usage rule says "You can also use aller à + person to ask/say that [someone] is fine with [something], i.e. that something suits you:" but neither of the examples use à.

It's confusing.

Shouldn't both "c'est" and, "elle est" be correct answers, since the question is ambiguous about whether it's asking, "do you like school [in general]" or, "do you like _the_ school [which you attend]?"

It seems that while it's technically correct to use indicative with "apres que", most people in France use the subjunctive in daily practice, and actually find it weird if you use the indicative. The practice is so common that it is becoming a defacto standard (e.g see https://www.francaisavecpierre.com/apres-que-subjonctif-ou-indicatif/). As I know Lawless is a strict grammarian, I will use the indicative and correct French speakers when they use the subjunctive (I also guess that I will soon be thrown out of France by a horde of angry French people :-) )

why is 

'je vous la donne'  the translation for 'I give it to you' when we don't know the gender of 'it'? shouldn't it be 'je vous le donne'

in the same manner why is 'je la lui a écrite' - i wrote it to her - not 'je le lui a écrit'?  

The lesson states "some adverbs are placed between the auxiliary verb and the past participle. These include 'encore'. 

The Larousse online dictionary gives the following examples of 'encore' [3. dans des phrases négatives] which follow this rule using ne...pas ne...rien  ne...jamais. 

 je n'avais encore jamais vu ça !    I'd never seen anything like it before !

My question is, why is 'encore' placed after 'pas' but before rien and before jamais?

I wonder if the audio file for "Nous peignons ensemble" is correct.  It sounded like "peignions" to me, and it doesn't sound the same as in the youtube.  Or are there two different pronunciations for "peignons"?
