Instead of 'si ça avait été mes œufs' could you say 'si cela avait été mes œufs' - or would that be too formal ?

Just when I thought I had all this sorted ! In an English novel about a house in France, there are two old derelict buildings one formerly housed pigs and the other was formerly used for making bread. They nick named the first one la maison de cochons and the other la maison du pain. Why the de / du and not just de for both since they are just names ?

Hello, i have classic Imparfait vs Passe compose questions: 

Can someone explain to me why "je n'ai pas toujours aimé ça" and not " je n'aimerais pas toujours ça". I thought this is the case where you describe opinion in the past.

Also instead of "je m'y suis habitué" can I use "j'en avais l'habitude" or "j'en ai l'habitude". Is the use "avoir l'habitude de" or "se habituer" can be interchangeable or they should be use in different context?

The usage rule says "You can also use aller à + person to ask/say that [someone] is fine with [something], i.e. that something suits you:" but neither of the examples use à.

It's confusing. 

My answer was "ambiguous".

The corrent answer is "feminine". I don't get it. If the question refers to the people of Russia, I thought that was "russe", the same in both the feminine and the masculine.

J'en ai rachete, juste au cas ou. And "with juste au cas ou, youn can only use Le Conditional.  

But the conditional is j'aurais achete or is this s typo?
