French language Q&A Forum

Are there translations (French into English) available for the listening/dictation exercises?  Where would I find them?  I use this to test/practice my listen comprehension as well. 

Aujourd’hui, quel âge avez-vous?

"il n'est jamais alle nulle part." This was one of the examples given in the lesson, but I  thought that it would be wrong to use *jamais* since "ne ... nulle part" is a negation of its own just like "ne .... aucune"

Au cours des années, elle m'a transmis sa passion - why is passé composé used? She clearly says 'over the years' so a repeated action? surely the imparfait would be used here?

Since both parts of the sentence refer to a feeling/opinion, shouldn't both parts be conjugated using the imperfect past tense?

"Je ne voulais pas choisir pour elle, mais j'ai été soulagé"

I entered this (il ferait du soleil) instead of the answer Kwiziq wanted (il ferait beau). Doesn't il ferait du soleil work as well?

I am understanding the usage of the reflexive verbs as well as reciprocal but I had saw something about passive pronominals would that be something for A2 I had seen it somewhere and now I can't seem to find it.

Hello, I am wondering why to use "c´est" instead of "elle est" to translate "she is an angel". Doesn't "c´est" mean "it is", used to describe an object? Can you use "c´est" about a person and why is it better than simply saying "elle est"?
