The lesson - and the quizzes based on it - use the grave accent for all 6 endings in this tense.

But all of the online conjugators that I have checked with use the acute accent.

As do all of the exmples in context on the web.

In a recent C1 test I was asked to complete the sentence, " Après........, ils se sont perdus."

After leaving, they got lost. I wrote, " Après avoir quitté, ils se sont perdus". My answer was marked as incorrect. Why?

Il ne mange des pâtes que le samedi.  He eats pasta only on Saturdays.

Not sure the English is quite right there.. shouldn't it be he only eats pasta on Saturday.. he eats pasta only means he eats nothing else

l ne mange que des pâtes le samedi. He eats only pasta.... That is correct and is synonymous with he eats only

The French looks very clear.. it is the English that is impossible!

Like personne ne ne personne 

For replying negating answers I need to change personnel ne to be personnel so I need to all like me rien what should I change it to?

In the last sentence, the correct response uses "fait de".  Why isn't "rend" acceptable? Is it because rendre is strictly = make something + adjective, not make something into something else + adjective? 

Est-ce qu'il pourrait parler plus vite!!

Is "tu réussis" acceptable here? The present tense and simple past are the same with "tu réussis" !
