Why "dans"?  Isn't stadium a general place rather than a specific one?  Like "in prison" = "en la prision"?

Since both parts of the sentence refer to a feeling/opinion, shouldn't both parts be conjugated using the imperfect past tense?

"Je ne voulais pas choisir pour elle, mais j'ai été soulagé"

Hi, in the example "François, dont j'ai rencontré la femme le mois dernier", can one say "François, dont la femme j'ai rencontré le mois dernier"?

To be completely honest, I couldn't follow this lesson at all. Maybe it's just the way it was written but I found it almost impossible to actually comprehend what was being conveyed and I had to seek out other sources. 

Thanks for everything you guys do! I usually love Kwiziq lessons, but I feel like this one needs a rethink. 

Can we use possessive adjectives instead of the definite articles? Why not? 

- Pourquoi ma chatte s'est-elle léché sa patte ? [Why did my cat lick HER paw?]

- Tu te laves tes mains? [Are you washing YOUR hands?]

- Il se lave ses cheveux. [He's washing HIS hair.]

It is a little confusing, could you please explain?

I am curious about the construction of ...fait de lui...  Why not ...lui fait...?  It seems to me that 'him', in the English, is the indirect object of faire while Français is the direct object.  I used ...lui fait..., which was not one of the accepted translations.   Why?

I answered incorrectly "au haricot vert", and was wondering if the difference is audible? Though perhaps this is something to know context rather than hear.

Can the verb 'faufiler' be used in this context?
