I know the masculine form is more dominant than the feminine form. How come the correct answer in this quiz is ‘zombie’ not ‘zombi’?

How do I reread writing exercises full text without having to do whole exercise again.

Hi, just a comment on one of the English lines. I don’t think we can have “Annoyed by the elephant, a part of Guitri population referred the matter to the authorities”, and would recommend either “Annoyed by the elephant, a part of Guitri’s population referred the matter to the authorities” or “Annoyed by the elephant, a part of the Guitri population referred the matter to the authorities”.

 I've been pronouncing the nasal vowel "IN" as "EN" as pronounced in "souvent" this whole time. Is it eh(n)? If so is it pronounced that way in every scenario?

Hi, in the alternate possibility that is given, “lorsque l'on termine une tour.” is the “ l’ ” there purely for pronunciation reasons? And could we use “lorsqu’on”? I remember something about it being desirable to avoid the sound of the French word “con”. Do friends in casual conversation care about that, or it just something to bear in mind in polite company?

It seems that while it's technically correct to use indicative with "apres que", most people in France use the subjunctive in daily practice, and actually find it weird if you use the indicative. The practice is so common that it is becoming a defacto standard (e.g see https://www.francaisavecpierre.com/apres-que-subjonctif-ou-indicatif/). As I know Lawless is a strict grammarian, I will use the indicative and correct French speakers when they use the subjunctive (I also guess that I will soon be thrown out of France by a horde of angry French people :-) )
