Is there a lesson that clearly compares when to use each of these. I'm struggling to distinguish between the three and was hoping for a side by side comparison.

I assume it may mean "how unlucky of being pregnant" but how do I know to add the " de/d' "
Did anyone else have trouble understanding this sentence?
"I think that I saw their phone number" : As "I" is the subject for both verbs i.e. "think" and "saw", would "Je pense avoir vu leur numéro quelque part" be an acceptable alternative here, or would that just be wrong?

Why is "dans la chambre" used rather than "à la chambre"?

I have great difficulty in deciding whether to use l'imperfait or parfait in translations and am surprised to see that both are acceptable in the sentence 'He wrote beautiful lyrics'. The imperfect is the preferred translation but the perfect is given as an alternative translation.
Both are correct, I think. Depuis is being red-lined.
