Hi, the L in 'l'ai dit', is this just there to separate the vowels, or is it actually a pronoun? Doesn't really make much sense as a pronoun?

Am I correct that this can have two slightly different meanings in English: I like that you take your time and I like you to take your time? In the first instance, it is a fact that the person spoken to takes their time; in the second, the speaker is expressing a desire for continuing situation - taking time. (The second instance is different again from I would like you to take your time, which, I suppose, would be translated as J'aimerais que tu prennes ton temps).

Is this yet another example of how English is often better for expressing nuances, or is there an alternative way to clarify the difference in French?

I continue to get this wrong so I know I must be missing a basic rule:

The sentences :

-Quant aux poses de yoga, leurs innombrables avantages……..

-Finalement, n’oublions pas le côté méditatif du yoga

Why de yoga in the first but du yoga in the second?

Une solution gagnant-gagnant. 

Gagnant- gagnant . C’est parce-ce qu’il y a deux mots gagnants qui suivent le mot solution?

Si on a une solution gagnante? Ici on doit faire accorder gagnant?

If you want to say you walked here, as opposed to walked there would you say je suis venu à pied?  

Please help!  I'm confused!  Why is "la fois dernière" correct in this question, when there is a clause after the phrase "last time"? Thanks 😊

BUT

When last time is followed by a clause (last time I saw you), you can only use la dernière fois, never la fois dernière.

Tu étais encore avec Stéphane la fois dernière.You were still with Stéphane last time.

Tu étais encore avec Stéphane la dernière fois.You were still with Stéphane last time.

Tu étais encore avec Stéphane la dernière fois que je t'ai vue.You were still with Stéphane last time I saw you.

Cecile and Chris I am more confused. Cecile seems to be saying "vous va" could be right as it can be singular but formal. Is it the "ton" which determines which "you" you use?
