In the sentence, "au point de faire systématiquement passer nos besoins avant les siens," please explain the usage of "passer" in this case. It doesn't follow the other examples used in the lesson.

Why do you use the passe simple here (tu agis for 'you were acting') instead of "tu as agi" or "tu agissais" ?
During the exercise we see “ognon” instead of “oignon”, although this mistake is not present in the consolidated block of text at the end of the exercise. Here’s a copy/paste of the line during the exercise: “et mélangez-la avec l'ognon et l'ail finement hachés”
Ceci représente un usage exclusif et spécifique. Celui des "Hommes" (par rapport aux Femmes). Elle n'a guère de sens général . Je comprends bien que le pronom: "On" ne s'accorde pas s'il y a un sens général ( Ex: Dans cette societe, on est né libre). Cependant, je ne suis pas convaincu que la phrase" En tant qu''Hommes" soit "un sens général"? Expliquez svp
