In one of the tests I took, I answered this question wrong:"Qu'est-ce que c'est que la Sorbonne?" means__
My answer was "What is it that is the Sorbonne."
Now I know the correct answer is "What is the Sorbonne?"
My question is why the original question should not have been "Qu'est-ce que c'est la Sorbonne?"
What is the need for a second que after c'est?
Can I write "Je les tiens précieusement" instead?
can we use the verbs which can be inverted with je in the future ?
For example devrai-je?(is this correct?)
Do these adjectives always agree in gender and number to the object it refers to?
I think the answer is yes, looking at the examples given, but as it is not specifically written (like in other lessons), it's always good to confirm!
