I used C’est parfaitement bien instead of c’est très bien. Is that wrong?
Following on from Henrik's question about distinguishing between singular and pluriel. I heard that she was making multiple costumes (no doubt due to the other mothers' apathy as pointed out below), but the next bit is "j'ai jusqu'à lundi pour que tout soit terminé" . I thought that it would be "pour que tous soient terminés" because multiple costumes. But those 2 options really would sound identical wouldn't they? Would they both be equally correct in this exercise?
Hi, is there anybody know how to get through B1, especially its grammars? I have been starting this level for a month and I think it's extremely difficult. At this point I just wanna give up and I start to hate French to be honest :(
I notice fait maison does not agree with the feminine noun. Is it a fixed expression?
a) Je dormais quand tu m'as interrompu OR b) J'étais dormir quand tu... In sentence b) is être redundant as the verb dormir can be used?
This question was on a test. Write "I play tennis.": Je ________ tennis. Did I understand the lesson correctly?
Does the answer match what the lesson is teaching? (I can't see or remember either at this moment, but I copied the question before leaving the test page.)
Est-ce que les français emploient souvent des mots comme "petit" devant quand. Par exemple, pourrais-je écrire "Saoul, quand j'ai bu trop de vin, je ne me sens pas bien"
I know the history of 'la tarte Tatin' and that 'tatin', has come to be applied, in cooking circles, to other 'upside down' tarts, but as 'tatin' is an (unofficial) abbreviation for 'tarte Tatin' should it not be une/la tatin ? The only dictionary I have found that references 'tatin' as a noun on its own, Robert en ligne, defines it as feminine.

Hi! Could you please allow for the player control to have rewind and fast forward functions? It's a bit frustrating to have to mandatorily listen to the whole audio first if I want to replay just a certain part of it.
I have come across uses of le conditionnel passé avec devoir where the meaning appears to lean more towards “would have” than “should have”. Par exemple “les alertes auraient dû sauver des vies”, by the context of the article could have been interpreted as a praise of the alert system as opposed to criticising the fact that the alert system did not do its job. Alternatively, it could mean criticism of people for not taking notice of the alerts. So, does “ils auraient dû + infinitive” always mean “should have”, or is there some subtle shading of meaning?
