Thank you
Best regards
Eugene
How would you say "someone hadn't lived there since [insert year]"
Is "au courant" invariable, or does it agree with the gender and number of the person?
Why would it be "C'était un bâtard" not "Il était un bâtard?" The statement is specific. I asked my partner, who is a native French speaker, and he said both sounded correct/normal to him. He couldn't figure out why the latter is unacceptable, even viewing the rules provided.
I thought if vouloir was used as negative phrase, you didn't use the subjonctif tense...am I wrong?
Can one also say ' je m'en servirai d'une'?
It wasn't offered as an option.
Thanks
Should we are going to Portugal be nous allons au Portugal or nous allons dans le Portugal.
Since épinards starts with a vowel why is it not d’épinards? Or is it always des when referring to some? Can you help me figure out when we use d’ as opposed to des?
What is meant by ..."qui a su conquérir les petits comme les grands" ?
I'm having a terrible time with pronunciation of these verbs. Google translate doesn't pick it up well even when I play clips of the native speakers. Any suggestions?
