If you wanted to say "You are not going to drive me...", would you say "Tu ne me conduis pas..."?   

Would one do liaison in this sentence?

In “En 1253, le chapelain Robert de Sorbon fonde un collège pour élèves nécessiteux” I was surprised that it was not “les élèves” or “des élèves”. Is there a particular reason why this is the case?

is the near future in the imperfect the same as the subjective?  To translate something such as I "was/were going to" seems subjective to me.

The answer in french is "J'ai vu des endroits magnifiques."

Why is it "des" here instead of d'endroits ??

Why "Comment appelle-te cet arbre" instead of Comment appelle-t-on cet arbre" for What do we call this tree?
