In the question:  "Regarde! Elle bâille! Quelqu'un est ________ ."  I chose "fatigué", and was marked wrong, claiming I had put "bâillé", (which I didn't.) Why?

Est-ce qu'on utilise "À partir du premier jour des vacances..." au lieu de "Dès le premier jour des vacances..." dans ce contexte ?  Si non, pourquoi ?

How would you translate the sentence, "Wine, we don't drink much of it." I wasn't sure about "Le vin, ..." so I asked Google Translate, which said it should be "Du vin, ..." But Duolingo marked that wrong and said it should be, "Le vin, ..." Which is correct? "Du vin, ..." actually feels more correct to me, because what you're really saying is, "On the subject of wine, we..." And wouldn't that be, "Au sujet du vin, nous ..." ? (Sorry, I don't know how to classify this type of sentence.)

What I had understood that verb attendre is not followed by any preposition….elle attendait de m’entendre…. Why are we using de here ?

So why is it that 1e, 2e, 3e, is only used for ranks / positions and never for dates.. (except 1st/ 1e i think?)

Hello, please advise if ´bien entendu’ is an adverb in the phrase J'avais bien entendu parler de ce nouveau poste and parler should be a participle
