In the explanation of this lesson page, there is a N/B: 

ATTENTION: you cannot use preposition + quoi, either for living or non-living things. Only the options above are correct in French. 

However, I have found a sentence «C'est ce à quoi je pensais» - is this not an example of 'preposition + quoi' ?

Les autres modes de transport utilisent "dans". Un wagon du métro et un wagon du train sont similaires. Cependant, le métro utilise "dans" et le train utilise "sur". Pourquoi?

Wish we could delete these rather than having to leave a '.' in the submission or otherwise fill the space, like this!

I was just wondering if you could give me some tips to use this website effectively, as I can't figure out how to remember the information. The topic tests aren't enough, so I was thinking to make flashcards, but that sounds straining. 

I'm doing IB and I need some tips - anything helps.

Thanks very much for your response.  My query was based on my understanding that, 'lui' referred to their invention- the hot air balloon, which is inanimate. Further clarification would be welcome.

Why is étrange before the noun here? In the other example answers, it comes after.

Pourquoi pas pluriel - avec leurs peaux dorées….

1) Je vais au cinéma le weekend? (I go to the cinema on weekends) .....is correct?

2) Le weekend, j'aime faire la fête. (On weekends, I like to party) .....is correct?

3) C'est lundi.... ou.... C'est le lundi? (It is Monday)

Good morning. Respectfully, French Canadian does not only mean Québécois.   It includes them and they are in fact a majority but we have many other French Canadians across beautiful country. Thank you.
