There are lots of translated sentences in the notebook lessons. It would be handy to be able to blend out the french sentence so as to try translate the english sentence into the french as an exercise.

The lesson doesn't say if it's okay to replace the pronouns un & autre with subject nouns. E.g  for: 'Neither Julien nor Sophie can come.' can you say 1) 'Ni Julien ni Sophie ne peuvent venir.' ? or do you have to say 2)'Julien et Sophie ne peuvent venir, ni l'un ni l'autre'  or how about 3) 'Ils ne peuvent venir, ni Julien ni Sophie.' ? Or are all three okay?

Elles ne connaitront jamais mon secret is the given answer. Why will savoir in the future not do? Various dictionaries suggest they are equivalent for this kind of statement.

Would there be anything wrong with saying 'Nous n'avons pas du tout été déçus' ?

Bonjour - Can someone explain the grammaire for  "je vois l'architecte arriver"?  Why is "arriver" an infinitive?  Merci!

It does not seem incorrect based on these 3 sources. Not sure what I am missing in these definitions that would make < pendre > incorrect.

I was surprised to see the word "clore".  It doesn't appear very often.  When and how is it used?

The sentence to be translated: I can listen to them for hours!

I wrote:  Je peux les écouter pendant des heures !

The exclamation mark was marked as incorrect even though it was called for in the original sentence.
