Just wondering why 'Qui', which ends in a vowel, wouldn't contract when the following word begins with a vowel, as does the example with 'Que'?
Has the conjugation of essayer in the present tense changed over the years? I learned "j'essaye" ( a long time ago ).
'different' as an adjective ... before or after the noun and why?

Mais après seulement quelques semaines, elle a commencé à s'épanouir : elle ne cachait plus sa bouche quand elle souriait, et on pouvait maintenant entendre sa voix clairement quand elle parlait, ce qui arrivait plus souvent qu'avant.
Can arriver and se passer be used interchangeably here? i.e. "ce qui se passait plus souvent qu'avant."
'se passait' wasn't given as an alternative option in the available correct answers.

I was wrong when writing”Je me promène avec mon chien”. Kwiziq has an example in the explanation :” Je me promène dans le parc avec Julie”. The différence here is la place “ dans le parc”,right? I feel confusing. Thanks a lot.
