Hi there, I was wondering if you could explain the present tense in the following sentence:

Mais c'était avant qu'ils ne reçoivent plus de 15 millions de paquets de la part des 26.000 buralistes de France...

Why is "reçoivent" in present (subjunctive)?

I struggled with this translation.  Part of it is not having sufficient vocabulary to do it (mostly because of not having been exposed to much of it in previous work) and part of it is not knowing exactly what the expected answers might be.  I have come to dread these exercises (I much prefer the dictees) and feel really quite inadequate at the end of each.  Should I drop back a level and work on B1 rather than B2 exercises or should I just say to  **** with it all and be content with the (inadequate) level of proficiency I've acquired?  I am feeling very discouraged!!

Question: Tu dois te présenter au Consulat Général pour avoir ton visa.

Answer: Tu dois t'y presenter pour en avoir

Why are we replacing ton visa with en and not le. Plzz tell

Just a few things I noticed about this exercise that may be errors:

1) One sentence to be translated had "...Œil de Lynx (Eagle Eye)..." but then did not translate "Eagle Eye".

2) In the sentence with "...la cape noire à doublure rouge..." a lesson was provided below for compound nouns formed with prepositions. However, that lesson does not explain this grammar issue, and it seems to me that this is not technically a compound noun...perhaps a different grammar rule would explain this? (For example "a frying pan" would be a compound noun but "a black pan with a red handle" would not be, I believe).

Finally, a grammar question: What is the difference between the usage of seul and seulement? (I'm wondering why saying "Seulment le journalist" in the third to last sentence is incorrect).

Hi can someone tell me the different meanings between these two sentences

elle n'a embrassé qu'Alexandre

elle n'a qu'embrassé Alexandre

and in an example given at the top of the page why the meaning was not explained within brackets like the other examples above and below it.

Nous n'avons regardé qu'un film.Should it of said Nous n'avons regardé qu'un film (and watched nothing else)

the question about the Professor: I put Leon as it's Prefessur and not Professure (F)? But it was wrong. Is that because of neologism? so, Professure is not used?
