What is the difference between:
Qu'est-ce qui marche le mieux ?
and the Que from the interrogative lesson Questions: Que ... = What?, e.g. :
Que marche le mieux?
What's the best way to recognize what is the best solution to use? The first thing that jumps out to me is that Que marche le mieux might be incorrect b/c there is not really a subject, but I would appreciate a more formal explanation, thank you!
Just to confirm, is a “non-verbal” sentence is a “written” sentence? So we can write down “Pas encore” in response to a question but we can’t actually say it....?
Cheers!
'Je me souviens encore de la première fois' : could toujours be used as an alternative to encore here ?
I don't understand why this is plural?
Je me lave après que tu te lèves.I wash after you get up.
Is it better to say "améliorer" or "s'améliorer" as in "je peux améliorer" or "je peux s'améliorer".
Hi guys, just a bit confused on that example
so the rule is that:adjective is placed BEFORE a plural noun,
so in that example, obviously ‘beaux’ is placed before a plural noun, so why doesn’t it mean ‘I buy SOME nice sheets’ instead of I buy nice sheets?
thanks!
In the song "Aux Champs-Élysées" the first line is "Je m'baladais sur l'avenue".
Is this a specific exception where you can use "sur" instead of "dans"?
