I am. not sure if its ok to post this here. But I noticed that in the lesson on reflexive pronouns.. it says -en nous endoromons, nous (for present participle)
Shouldn't it be -En nous endormant, nous..... What am I missing?
Why pendant and durant are used ? there are no clear begin and end in this sentence.
Why not "etait ajoutee"
How would you say: "It is hot and sunny?"
Il fait chaud et il y a du soleil?
NB I don't understand why in French hot is an adjective and sunny is a noun...

Why does pronom relatif eliminates a subject complement.
Eg:J'ai rencontré par hasard une amie;je ne l'avais pas vu depuis mon enfance.
Why is this not in the passe compose? tout le monde a eu son ....
I see in an exercise that "I'm having new sandals made." is translated as "Je me fais faire de nouvelles sandales." I don't understand why the "me" is necessary in this case. I can see why for verbs like brosser, couper, raser, doucher, and so on. But not in this case. What am I missing?
How to translate la femme? eg the answer given was this girl? How to know whether it's this or that or the?
