I have a question about the number one in front of larger numbers. Is One hundred million written ‘un cent milliards’, ‘une cent milliards’ or ‘cent milliards’
Hi -
I was trying to work out how you would say 'if the weather is good, we can take a walk in the park'. From the above it looks I can either use Se Promener or Faire une Promenade, but im not sure how to combine these with Pouvoir. I assume using 'Faire' it would be:
-s'il fait beau, nous pouvons faire une promenade dans le parc.
1) Is this correct?
2) Is there a way of saying this using the reflexive verb/conjugation with se promoner?
Thank you :)
Why can’t i say ‘la circulation me fait peur?’
This sounds like an opinion to me. I thought it should be in the imparfait. Could someone kindly shed light on this for me?
why is it 'elle faisait son jogging' and not 'elle faisait DU jogging' ?
I am curious as to the agreement of the adjective “délicieuses” in the dictation-surely it is the noun “l’air” rather than “moules” which it has to agree with? In other words, “the mussels look delicious”.
In this example - Le temps que nous arrivions, mon avion était déjà parti !
Why is it not - "Le temps que nous soyons arrivés..." because it means By the time we arrived... Why Subjonctif Passé is not used?
Why were my answers marked as wrong? Surely Six millions de dollars & Six milliards de dollars are correct.
Where is the Eu coming from please?
Does the phrase …..(aller) mieux que…” introduce the subjunctive mood?
