Sorry, hit the wrong key. Question below.If the type of hurt is not specified (I hurt Olive yesterday.) how does one know whether it is an emotional or physical hurt? I hurt Olive yesterday was on an A2 test, and I wonder if it might be better on a comprehension type question like this to specify which type hurt the question is looking for. Thank you for your help on this, I appreciate it.

They would be lucky: "ils auraeints de la chance" I saw the avoir verb used here: "ils auraeints de la chance." Why not use etre ("would be"): Ils seraient de la chance. Is it a rule that the avoir verb always used with luck versus the etre verb?

Difference between brouillard & brumeux?Besides brouillard being a noun and brumeux being an adjective, how are the two different? It says in the lesson that there is no adjective for brouillard (fog), but a search on word reference shows that brumeux means foggy. How come it says there is no adjective for brouillard then?

Gender of hyphenated nounsIn A1, there is a long lesson that tries to tell us how to infer a word's gender based on word ending patterns. Based on that, I can correctly guess that both "lave" and "vaisselle" are feminine, so why does dictionaries tell me "lave-vaisselle" is masculine ?

The position of délicieux in relation to the noun it is describing.

Why is "délicieux" placed before the noun in  A great weekend and A Thanksgiving gift, "un délicieux repas" but after the noun in A romantic trip to Paris "des vins délicieux"
