Hello, I have a technical question. Why aren’t these called possessive pronouns? Is the term interchangeable with possessive adjectives? It’s been a long time since I’ve been in school, but I don’t remember the term “possessive adjectives” at all.  Thank you.

Why is reposer used in the final sentence as a translation of leaving the tart to set? Doesn't reposer just imply leave it to rest (in the fridge) with no mention of setting?,

Why is it 'aux prix' and not 'au prix'.  Isn't prix singular?

L’année qui commence promet être.....

Aren’t there two conjugated verbs( commence and promet) simultaneously? 

Should not we say l’année qui commence promettre être.... ?

While I did use "elle est aussi restée avec moi dimanche" could you use "elle m'est aussi restée dimanche" ?

Is it alright to use "Pourrais-je vous offrir une boisson chaude gratuite en attendant ?" What would be the difference in using pourrais and puis, if any? Thank you.

Why is étrange before the noun here? In the other example answers, it comes after.

If I fill up a form with my nationality –

Example one: nationalité: autricien

Example two: nationalité: autricienne

I am a male Austrian, but I fill up with the feminine word 'nationalité' that agrees with the feminine adjective 'autricienne' but I don't know which example is correct.

Please tell me which example is appropriate for a male Austrian nationality. Thank you.
