I get a bit confused when, due to the speaker being female, we do/do not add an “e” to the past participle. Here, for instance, I was expecting “vue”.

The rules of agreement of the past participle with verbs which take avoir are to do with the object and not the subject as per Kwiziq lesson -
In this case, the direct object is after the verb so there is no agreement.

Hi Brian,
In the active voice, the past participle of voir remains invariable with avoir.
This would only change in the passive voice (être) or if a direct object pronoun appeared before the verb or in a pronominal sense where être would apply
