Hi Daneillia,

Here is the link to the lesson you need for countries than towns/cities -

Using en with feminine countries and au(x) with masculine countries to say in or to (prepositions)

Hope this helps!

Hi,

I have here provided you links to the pages to answer your questions. Hope they help.

À = To/in and De = From/of with cities in French (French Prepositions of Location)%252Fsearch%253Fs%253DPreposition%252Bwith%252Bcities

Compound nouns formed with prepositions à/de/en in French%252Fsearch%253Fs%253DPreposition%252Ben%252Baux

That's just the French way. You use different prepositions depending on what you're talking about and its gender. I don't see the links posted by Nicole speaking to your question, though.

Here are the ones addressing your question:

Using en with feminine countries and au(x) with masculine countries to say in or to (prepositions) (kwiziq.com)

En, dans = In, to with regions, states, counties (prepositions) (kwiziq.com)

P.S.: Unfortunately kwiziq doesn't allow links when posting here, that's why what I posted as a link to a kwiziq lesson turned into non-clickable text only. I really wish they would fix that...
