I was wondering as I am understanding adjectives. I'm confused on extrêmement! There was a sentence in my book that saying un extrêmement vieux livre but it was marked wrong when I put extrêmement at the end of the noun live. Why is that wrong?
Thank you!!
I know that I can use the passe compose when expresing the habits with" apres que"
is it valid for "quand, aussitôt que,dès que, lorsque, une fois que,
for example
Je me brosse les dents quand je me suis lèvé (first ı get up then I brush my teeths)
aussitôt je me suis levé, Je me brosse les dents
dès que je me suis levé, Je me brosse les dents
lorsque je me suis levé, Je me brosse les dents
une fois que, je me suis levé, Je me brosse les dents
I wish your helps... Merci beaucoup.
My point of view- its equivalent in english to say- I don't like anything but apples...if you put this in mind you will not get confused. so it means you like only apples.
Je n'aime que les pommes.
Hi!
I took a C1 quiz out of curiousity just to see what kind of questions it was. Now my quizbot has started recommending C1 lessons for me. Is there any way in which I can make it start recommending things on my level again? C1 is way too hard for me. I used to know french on a B1 level, but my current level is A1 (though I'll probably reach A2 within a week or two when I've refreshed my old knowledge).
If "prendre" means "to take", could I also use this in a sentence to signify that someone is "stealing" or even physically grabbing something?
Bonjour ! Can you explain me how to use tiret (-) in writing numbers ? Merci !
As voir is not a preposition, why is être used? Is is because the verb is intransitive in this case? So, its better to not only look for prepositions following the verb, but how it is used? This is my logic, and is it acceptable?
