In a quiz just taken, in making an adverb from "courant", courammant was marked wrong and couramment was correct. Is courant just different?
to me it sounds like
La planète mérite bien cet effort
Cuisinions vs cuisions ? Thought cuisions was subjunctive
I'm curious about the adjective placement in "fervent défenseur." Would it be equally correct to say "un défenseur fervent" as a way to start this sentence?
assister + à = to attend
I have 2 questions
1-
can I use indirect object or direct object before the verb for "penser à" when I talk about people?
and what is the rule for
Je pense à Lui(tom)
je lui pense or je le pense?? (does it work with any of them?)
2-how can I inverted imperatif with penser à for people
pense à moi or pense moi (whicj one is true?)
I am just wondering about the phrase, "en fin de matinee." Would you translate this to mean: "late morning"; and is "en fin de" commonly used in similar expressions? ie. "en fin d'apres-midi"; "en fin de soiree", etc. I also notice that there the definite article is left out.
Merci par avance.
What's the rationale for using 'jeunes maries' (sorry, doesn't do accent in the boxes) and not 'nouveaux maries' here?
It is listed as adverb and I am confused.
can we say: "Baptiste est mon le plus mauvais ennemi." ?
