Conduire de nuitSame sort of question here for the proper use of « de ». Shouldn’t it be « conduire à la nuit « ? Why « conduire de nuit »?

Very confusing lesson

I've read the comments and know that this lesson is being reviewed. It can't come soon enough. It really is poorly written, and I'm just not going to test on it until it's edited, changed or whatever. Will try to learn the topic via some other means.

Difference between 'none left' and 'haven't any more'

So there is no difference in French between ' i haven't any more chocolate' and 'I haven't any chocolate left'? That was my confusion, I thought it was a trick question.

If you can say "Tu lis seulement le soir" why use "tu ne lis que le soir"

Help plz. One sentence with "dont" causes great frustrations

While studying with a french article online, I found this sentence driving me crazy for 3 days....... I would greatly greatly appreciate for any help...

Im wondering how "dont" works in the sentence.. Does it mean "including"? Or is it "de + qui/que"??

The word "certains" comes right after the "dont" causes more frustration to me.... Cuz i cannot figure out the reason for that....

Im also wondering why the adverb "impossible" is there without the verb "être"... Does French omit "qui est" like English "which is"?

Confusing question

The question 'The last time he came, he didn't behave himself.' is confusing as this could refer to a series of visits rather than a final visit. Therefore either 'la semaine dernière or la dernière semaine '' could be correct
