(l'opera) dont le sujet se trouve être un soulevement (des Napolitians contre leurs opresseur) ...how does this translate I wonder...seems like too many words to me...? The opera in which the subject finds themselves/him/itself being an uprising the neapolatians against their opressers...? Shouldn't it be: The opera in which the subect finds themselves in an uprising...A against B? 

Very grateful for a better translation of this sentence!

Just want to ask why there is "le" in this sentence. It translates to english as we can if we want to, so why the le?

Notre clients projette d'aller a la concurrence.  Wouldn't "competition" be a more precise translation than "our rivals"?

Why does "de" follow "je dois" and precede "avoir" in this sentence?

I chose étudiants instead of élèves in this exercise and it was marked incorrect.  Does the word élève pertain to older students and étudiant to younger students?  Is there a distinction between élève and étudiant and, if so, what is it?

I answered the question correctly but it was marked wrong. I paid very close attention to the answer.

I was wondering what the word neologism means. You said the French Academy considers La professeure a neologism. What would neologism mean for that?

Why is it "disparaisse" and not "ait disparu"? Because at the time of the story being told (two days before she disappeared) she had not yet disappeared?
