1: Comment ça se fait que "descend" est suivi par "de" dans le text?

2: Je pense que "petit" est un adjectif apposé, mais où est le nom qu'il complète?

Is this expression being overused in KwiziqThis expression keeps coming up in these quiz questions. Usually it is in a choose-one-from-list situation where it is indeed the best choice. But isn't it misleading since many of these cases would normally be adequately translated using Le Present since the emphasis on the continuous nature of the action is not required?

How can I get this topic to stop popping up in quizzes and suggested lessons

I am unlikely to ever need to speak about provinces, nor do I care to know minor details such as how English counties in particular are treated. I am deeply dismayed by being forced to study this when there are so many more essential things I need to learn. How can I pause or snooze an unimportant topic in order to move onto things I need to learn?

This sentence was an example: Tu as failli y rester. The translation was you almost died.

Couldn't it also be Tu as failli mourir?
