1. I think the translation of this sentence is wrong
On ne doit pas penser qu'à soi : One mustn't think only of oneself.
2.For me, it must be like this:
One must think only of oneself.
The monster revealed sharp white canines. I had to guess, wrong, since I had no idea nor could I find it anywhere online whether canines is masc or fem. What’s a good source for checking word gender when it’s not obvious? The lesson doesn’t address this of course. Thanks.
Is there a difference between "second" and "deuxieme"? Is "second tour" (and "deuxieme parti") just a fixed phrase?
Also, how can we tell when the adjective is supposed to go before the noun, e.g., "indiscutable montée" and "nombreuses similitudes"?

1, you say that "a regarde" should have an "s" after the "e". Why? Surely with avoir there is no agreement?
2,the same with "a pardonnes" lower down. Surely this also should just end with an "e" acute!
3, finally, when she pardons us, that is an action that is over and done with, a once and once only act, therefore why is that not past compose?

J'ai répondu avec "du shopping," mais la réponse était "les magasins." Mais dans la leçon, les deux semblent plutôt égales.
Dans ce contexte, ça doit être "les magasins" ? :)
What word would we use in a more formal, or written context?
I didn’t have a clue what the colloquial for “The only fly in the ointment” was, so I had a wee search online and one suggestion was “Un seul cheval dans la soupe”, which made me laugh so I used that. I know you marked me wrong in favour of “La seule ombre au tableau”, but can the used ?
