In the correction list offered, I was surprised to see "Le dimanche".
Is there a particular reason why this is correct here since the text implies only the one Sunday, not all Sundays?
What if the turtle pet is male, and its name is Marc. Would it be "Mon tortue s'appelle Marc"
Same goes to cow, the word "vache" is feminine, if we want to say a male cow, would it be "un vache"?
Why is j'ai envie not followed by du or de la with food items, as is usually the case.
Bonjour. In the above examples, I see personne n'est heureux. The lesson does not talk about plurality I do not think.
In the quiz, now I can't remember, but I may or may not have used a singular masculine word. Do you have any extra information as plurality in this lesson? Merci.
In the lesson "Using le, la, les with body parts and clothing (definite articles)", the definite article is used instead of the possessive.
One of the examples in that lesson:
Ils ont les yeux fermésThey have their eyes closed
Following that example, we'd come up with "Ils sucent encore le pouce" instead of "Ils sucent encore leur pouce".
Are there any specifications in futur proche. For example, in passé compose when conjugated with être, if the sujet is feminin then we have to add an “e” to the passé form of the verb
