According to the rule analysis, using en for feminine countries and a for masculine countries, why is the correct answer for the question "la?"  Je vais visiter la France cet ete.  Should the sentence not be Je vais visiter en France?

The lesson states, "Just as in English, you can state something with a querying tone..." but none of the above examples sound like questions to me. They all sound like flat statements. The voice does not rise at the ends of these questions like it would in English. Is a "querying tone" different in French? 

Is it correct to also say “puis elle a repris a lire” ?  “Then she resumed her reading” . Sorry, can’t type accents.

Hi, so i'm reading exercises du style and there´s the following phrase: l'autobus est arrivé. Alors j'ai monté dedans. Wouldn't the être variant be appropriate here?

The English text did not say it was “for the wedding” (for the last thing to translate). Nowhere in the text was there any mention of a wedding. So why did the last sentence have “pour le mariage” added to the end?

I've answered the quiz question: "J'ai peur qu'ils _________ la vérité." with "ne sachent."  This was marked incorrect and the correct answer was "sachent."  I submitted that as an error, but the response there was to come here and ask why it's incorrect.  

I've reviewed the 'ne explétif' lesson over and over and am sure I've lost my mind.  In that lesson, "avoir peur que" is NOT marked as depending on whether the phrase is negative and says that it always takes the 'ne'.  Can anyone help me understand why my answer is incorrect? Many, many thanks.
