On the other hand, « déborder » is suggested as an alternative to « occuper » for 'busy' - « déborder » seems a bit strong for just 'busy'.
In several of your test question you have the verb of (had)plus the verb which understood to be plu perfect and not imparfait. Now please explain how you are going to differentiate?
The lesson contains the sentence "To express the more formal expression for fear that / out of fear that + verb in the Conditional (= for fear that you would do this) or may do/might do in French, the structure is a bit more complicated". My question is: a bit more complicated than what? It's confusing.
In the first three example 'je' is followed by a word starting with a vowel. Why doesn't 'je' change to j'?
eg Puis-je avoir le pain, s'il vous plaît? --> Puis-j'avoir le pain?
Then you put 2 examples that do NOT use the conditionnelle. I am now totally confused.
Then you use juste sometimes and not others with no explanation.
Please explain full.
