Do we say the word cent after the "cents"In the sound files in this lesson it sounds like they are saying the word "cent" after the cents for currency. Is that correct? I went back to the lesson on decimals and they don't pronounce it that way on that lesson or am I just hearing it wrong? Example Ça coûte 1,20 € le litre. They appear to say "un euro vingt cent". Thanks

A la montagne versus dans la montagne?I have a question based on a test I took. It stated that one would say..."pour aller skier a la montagne" ("to go and ski in the mountains"). Why is it, a la montagne and not dans la montagnes?

I have seen brown (in English) as both marron and brun in French, how are they different or is either correct?

can anybody explain why one is used rather  than other please. in the question it was a mon pere and to finish sentence so i put a moi, but wrong and should be me.

"était" versus "c'était"In writing challenge week 68 B2, one of the correct answers is "Oui, je crois que la dernière fois, c’était chez Paul et Sophie." as opposed to "Oui, je crois que la dernière fois était chez Paul et Sophie." What are the rules for using c'est and its variations when in the middle of a sentence?

aimer = love or like?I used to be on Duolingo, and whenever this question came up, the experts always said "aimer means love for people&pets, like for things". Laura Lawless' article agrees, with examples like "Aimes-tu le tennis? Oui, j'aime ça - Do you like tennis? Yes, I like it". But this lesson has aimer=love even for things. What am I to believe?
