on est perdus..... why plural ? on can take the place of nous ... is that the reason ?
In the phrase, '"ce qui m'a enfin permis de m'ouvrir" why isn't there an "e" at the end of "permis", since the direct object, "m", is a woman?
The first two sentences have similar structure, a salutation followed by a question or a declaration. However, the first uses an exclamation followed by a question; whereas, the second uses a comma after the salutation and then continues making it all one sentence, If you use the first sentence's pattern, i.e. using an exclamation instead of a comma, this is marked wrong. Please explain, as this is a recurring issue.. Thanks
Im just a bit confused since, i am trying to learn french and on the 7th or 8th question, it said hand sanitizer is gel hydracoolique, but ive never heard such a word! I dont know, im just a bit confused since, for new people at french, this word (i dont think) shouldn't be used, since i am getting better and better each day, but again, ive never heard this word, nor seen it, for that matter. I dont want to be a pain, but i think this shouldn't be used.
sorry if this is a stupid question but why isn't visiter written in the infinitive form after a conjugated verb (rendre)
Thank you! Just a note on the English: it's more idiomatic/natural to say "I get angry easily" (or even in this context "I get annoyed easily"), at least here in the UK.
On ________ passés par là ? Did we pass this way?
the answer is On siesta passes par la? Why isn't it On est passé par là?
The plural passes seems wrong to me.
This lesson gets confusing because of the incorrect English usage of whom. The lesson actually states 'Whom does someone meet?" That is incorrect. it is "who does someone meet?" or " you went to meet whom?"
Just google who vs whom. plenty of explanations there
