Can I assume this can also be used for its literal translation? EX: "When are we going to all get together?" "I don't know. When we open the presents?"

why not have a multiple choice after the reading exercise. that would make it much more useful and helpful in preparing for delf
In the sentence "tout le monde aide avec les corvées"
1. why is the phase singular if means plurel as in everyone
2. why is corvées feminine? I would have thought corvés as it is a mix of people (potentially)
And...
In the sentence "Julien s'occupe du tri des déchets"
1. why “tri” and not “trie”, I couldn’t find a “tri” in any tenses?

There is a glitch in the writing and dictation exercises -- when you finish typing and hit enter (or whatever), it moves directly to the next portion to read/listen to without giving the option to grade it. It's frustrating.

I used avoir + monte because in the notes it says this means - to go up, but the answer uses etre. Please can someone help me with this? Many thanks, as always!

I selected: "êtes d'accord" and the Kwizbot said that I was partly right and that "étes d'accord" was also correct. I'm new to this course, but have never seen this alternate accent for êtes and didn't see it mentioned anywhere in the learning page for the lesson. Is this really a common and acceptable way to write the word?
