Hi C and Stephen,

I have checked the question and your answer should be accepted using the verb plaire. So if this is not the case please contact via the Report it button on your correction board so we can look at it.

I am unable to do this from this forum.

Bonne Continuation!

Hi C,

This is because this lesson is about using the verb 'aimer' specifically.

There is a specific Kwiziq lesson on 'plaire' which is much trickier to use -

Using "plaire" to express liking something/someone

Bonne Continuation!

In the question it does not specifically tell you to use the verb "aimer" in your answer, so why isn't the use "plaire" a correct answer. As "Sarah plaît à Martin" = "Martin likes Sarah" or am I missing something ?

why the verb "plaire" isn't an option to translate Martin likes Sarah ?

Sarah plaît à Martin
