Vous disputer ?
This question relates to:French dictation exercise "A hectic visit to the museum"
Asked 1 month ago
Hi Stephanie,
The sentence is -
Peut-être si vous arrêtez de vous disputer = Perhaps, if you stop arguing/quarelling
1. The verb 'se disputer' is reflexive so yes the 'vous' is a reflexive pronoun
2. It is in the infinitive because it follows the verb 's'arrêter de faire quelque chose' ( to stop doing something)
J'ai arrêté de me disputer avec ma sœur = I have stopped arguing with my sister
Ils ont arrêté de se disputer avec leurs voisins = They have stopped arguing with their neighbours
Hope this helps !

If you quote the entire sentence in question I may be able to help. Otherwise I'd have to go snooping and listen to the entire exercise to discover what you're referring to.
