Translating ''must''

Elle est malade. Elle aura oublié de mettre son écharpe.She's ill. She must have forgotten to wear her scarf.
I would have translated this as Elle est malade. Elle aura du oublié de mettre son écharpe.
If both are correct, what is the difference between them?

This question relates to:French lesson "Conjugate regular -er, -ir, -dre verbs (+ avoir) in the future perfect in French (Le Futur Antérieur)"

Hi Brian, 

In French when we use the 'futur antérieur' with modal verbs to indicate a supposition or an assumption about something in English it is often translated by simply 'must have done' when the modal verb is devoir.
