Tenir bon

The correct answer is "j'ai tenu bon" - could you also say, "j'ai tenu le coup"?

Hi Sean,

They are very similar -

The definition of tenir bon is, rester ferme

and tenir le coup is résister

So the difference between to hold on and to hold out.

Same difference in my opinion but will leave you to decide ...

To me, they mean the same thing: to hold up, to keep with it, to stick to it, etc.

But Cécile's input would be appreciated.
