Statement to question

Statement:  Alain a paye l'hotel

Why is the question:  Alain paye-t-il l'hotel and not Alain a-t-il paye l'hotel?

Sorry - I can't find the accents!!!

Hi Kate,

I have checked the Kwiz question and it was

Alain a payé l'hôtel = Alain has paid for the hotel

which you had to make into a question.

The only correct answers given are -

Alain a-t-il payé l'hôtel ? Has Alain paid for the hotel ?

So I don't understand your query.

Hi Kate,

I think you are correct that it should be "Alain a-t-il payé l'hotel"

You don't seem to have written é only e.  Perhaps this is the problem?

Otherwise, in the top left of the lesson there is a "report a problem" button to use if you think there is an issue beyond my point about é.
