Sortir in the passé composé

Which is correct or are they both correct? "Elles sont sorties avant moi." and / or "Elles sont sortis avant moi."

Hi Phil,

Only

'Elles sont sorties avant moi'

is correct as the past participle has to agree with the subject, elles which is feminine and plural.
