rendez-vous vs. reunion

Quelle est la difference entre: "un rendez-vous" et "une reunion" ? Je pense qu'"un rendez-vous" = "an appointment" and "une reunion" = "meeting".Est-ce que c'est juste ?

Un rendez-vous is usually an appointment between yourself and another person.
In this exercise, it is with a doctor, but it could be a hairdresser or a lawyer, or even a romantic assignment.
Une réunion is more of a gathering of several people but in business, it is a meeting.

Rendez-vous is the formal word for a planned meeting, usually of only a few  people (such as, e.g., an appointment).Réunion has the flavor of a gathering, is planned and usually comprises of a larger number of people.
