Hi Madhavi Latha,

There are lots of different types of pronouns in French as in English but they are seen as more complicated.

Here are some Kwiziq lessons on COD (complément d'object direct) -

 https://kwiziq.learnfrenchwithalexa.com/revision/glossary/pronoun-type/pronoms-d-objet-direct-direct-object-pronouns

and on when to use 'y' to replace a phrase introduced by 'à' -

https://kwiziq.learnfrenchwithalexa.com/revision/grammar/the-adverbial-pronoun-y-can-replace-a-thing-object-location

or a place -

https://kwiziq.learnfrenchwithalexa.com/revision/grammar/the-adverbial-pronoun-y-means-there

I hope these help!
