On sort

Bonjour Laura,
As Jim pointed out, if we had asked to translate 'are we going to go out?', your answer would have been correct.
Are we going out? = On sort ?
Are we going to go out? = On va sortir ?
If you need a refresher on using the near future here is the lesson you require -
Conjugate verbs in the near future in French using aller + infinitive (Le Futur Proche)
En attendant, binne continuation !
Bonjour L.W.
The near future construction is aller + infinitive --> On va sortir, this is the answer to your query.
Bonne journée
Jim
If you think about it this is one of those situations where the French usage aligns well with English, using the present tense for something that will happen soon:
"On sort?" = "We are going out?" or more often "Are we going out?’
