Nous les avons préparés nous-mêmes

If préparer is a regular verb why do we use it with 's' in past tense?

Thank you.

Hi Lina,

This is to do with the rules of agreement of past participles with the auxiliary 'avoir'.

Please take a look at the following Kwiziq lesson for more detail -

https://kwiziq.learnfrenchwithalexa.com/revision/grammar/special-cases-when-the-past-participle-agrees-in-number-and-gender-when-used-with-avoir-in-le-passe-compose-conversational-past

Bonne Continuation!
