no adj for brouillard (fog), or vent (wind)?

Bonjour tout le monde,

I just check the online linguee dictionary and found that there is adj for wind, it is:

venteux

So is it correct when I say:

Le temps est venteux?

Merci

Hi Tecla,

Although some adjectives do exist, it is more French to say -

Il y a/il fait du brouillard

Il y a /il fait du vent

Hope this helps!

I would have said, “Il fait un temps venteux,” but I think both are acceptable.  There’s brumeux for foggy.
