Is ‘pain’ not masculine, and therefore is frais and not fraiche ?

I have looked at the kwiz questions and the only one relating to 'pain' which indeed is masculine was:

Viande is a feminine noun and therefore would take 'fraîche'.

Let me know if I have missed another example.
